Only Watering Cans make crops mature immediately, not Fertilizer. When harvesting a fertilized crop, two of that crop will drop rather than one. If two Neighbors fertilize the same plot, it's possible for the crop to mature immediately. This is a result of accepting help from Neighbors, not a result of the Fertilizer.
